Bender Brothers transforms imaginative display concepts into effective display solutions for premier specialty retailers worldwide. Our goal is to assist creative teams and production staff in creating consumer interfaces that increase product sales & brand recognition. At Bender Brothers, we place equal emphasis on each step of the display production cycle and have created three distinct departments to handle design, production, and fulfillment for 3D visual merchandising. By offering a customized design to fulfillment solution, we can ensure your ability to meet your in-store objectives, shorten lead times, and stay within budget. On staff we have material science experts, electrical engineers, metal fabricators, woodworkers, and model makers with a penchant for great style and an understanding of what drives the trends in design, architecture, and fashion. Our production team swiftly rolls signed-off concepts into high volume manufacturing either at our own domestic facility or with one of our global partners. Finally, we anchor this design and manufacturing capacity with a logistics department that has never missed coordinating a launch anywhere in the world Tokyo to Milan, San Francisco to Manhattan. 02. Design

A. In-House Design

After working with some of the top retail brands in the world, we realize that brand and in-store designers are often spread thin having tight deadlines to produce 3D props for the next season roll out, and we can help. Many of our clients have a full time design department that we are happy to support. However, we realize that some of our clients do not have an extensive creative team and need to rely on us to develop a concept and create a prototype from scratch. With your time being as valuable as it is, you can depend on our comprehensive knowledge of brand stewardship and our core strength at processing an idea in any form. Send us a faxed paper sketch, napkin drawing, or even a verbal description and we will turn it into a production ready prototype ready in days.

B. Materials

Each craftsman and designer at our rapid-prototype center has a material specialty that we can leverage to meet your needs. We work in ferrous metals, aluminum, stainless steel, wood, architectural foam, and acrylic. The Bender team understands texture, fabric, faux finish, color, and motion and how each of these elements relates to brand expression. Our comprehensive materials library and vast sourcing department allows us to deliver prototypes quickly, confident that we will meet your specifications and most importantly your budget.

03. Production

A. Domestic Production

With over 200,000 sq ft of space, flexible labor resources, and prototypes designed in house, we have the ability to quickly and seamlessly transition from design to production. Because we design with mass production in mind, our prototypes not only meet your aesthetic but are usually ready for production the second your project is signed-off. Often clients will attempt to use a prototype shop that doesn’t handle production as well. This causes a disparity between what is originally approved, wastes precious time and money and adds extra cost. Our design to production capability avoids this. Our specialty is large volume orders and we have a proven 10 year track record of producing faster than any one in the industry.

B. International Production

Time permitting, off-shore production can be a cost effective solution. Because our prototypes are built with manufacturing in mind, we can guarantee a smooth transition to off-shore production. Our multi-lingual staff and contracted strategic global partnerships are standing by to tackle the largest of production orders.

04. Fullfillment

A. Distribution

Your brand has marketing campaigns and product launches on specific days with a tight budget for fulfillment and limited to zero storage capability at each store. Understanding these needs and being one of the largest Fed Ex Clients in Northern California allows us to coordinate exact ship dates so you can receive displays simultaneously worldwide throughout your entire retail network to be installed within hours of your product launch. Some of our clients have their own trucking and logistics system and our team can work with your team to ensure smooth logistics. Because we produce everything we can inventory replacement parts and extra displays so we can quickly replace or restock anything within hours.

B. Storage

We also offer storage space for products that might roll out over the course of a year. Lastly, being a full service shop, we make specific choices when designing your display that optimize dimensional weights and engineer packaging for inexpensive shipping. Being that packaging has such a limited life, we strive to use state of the art compostable corn based packaging and other planet friendly materials so your packaging won’t outlive your display.
